Field has always liked to dance. Now, she finds much of the same
physicality and release in watercolor painting as she does in moving to
music." |

Painting watercolors is very direct. It's
always about responding to what's there in the moment, much like dancing.
Dancing, you collaborate with the music and with your partner. Painting,
you collaborate with the landscape and with everything around you,
exploring form and color, creating depth.

interest in watercolor has become a passion, ignited by my love of the

I have created watercolor paintings on commission: houses, gardens, public
places. (click here to see some).
The best job in the
world was when a client flew me out to Colorado for a series of
commissions. To celebrate the opening of a new corporate office,
each executive was asked to choose a spot in a National park and I hiked
or biked into the spot and painted it for them.

All of the
paintings shown here are available in limited-edition prints. I include just a
few samples of my work here. Please call to inquire about what work is
currently on hand. (These paintings sell quickly, but I am always
producing more.) I would be happy to discuss your needs concerning
particular sizes, etc.. |
