began to paint watercolors the summer of 1999, when we moved here to
Sandwich,
New Hampshire from Chicago. The watercolors became a vehicle for
meditation and contemplation. I
chose five sites to paint from that year and returned to each weekly
throughout the seasons. I
wanted to see more deeply the same view through its changing colors and
